stroller Wagons aren’t allowed and the Disney stroller requirements are 31” x 52”. There’s a wagon that is 52” x 29”, technically within the requirement's. My son is autistic, I need this wagon for my two kids that are extremely hard to walk

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Bridgit. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.

The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making sure that all Guests have a safe, accessible, and, of course, magical visit to the theme parks. I completely understand your concern about your son. The Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that stroller wagons are prohibited, regardless of the dimensions. That said, it's possible that your stroller wagon could be designated as a "Stroller as a Wheelchair." In that case, your stroller wagon would be marked with a special tag indicating so. Unfortunately, that designation can only be made in person at a Guest Relations location. And, in order for that designation to be made, your child must meet one of the following, as listed in the Accessibility Planning Guide:

    • Is a child with a disability who uses their stroller as a mobility device in lieu of a traditional wheelchair
    • Is a child with additional medical equipment who needs a way to transport their equipment while in a queue
    • Is an adult with a mobility disability who uses a stroller as a mobility device to assist with walking

I recommend having a back up plan, just in case. Double strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. You can certainly also bring your own double stroller as long as it meets the size requirements. When my sons were little, I loved using my City Mini Double Stroller for our theme park adventures. The seats were large enough for them to sit in until they were 8-years old and the extra-long shades kept them protected from the Orlando sun. It was also easy to fold up before we boarded a Disney bus!

I also suggest you take some time to review the Services for Guests Who Are Neurodivergent page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I think you'll find a lot of useful information there that will help you prepare for your visit!

I hope this was helpful, Bridgit. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
