Hey there, Karen! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.
I’ve probably logged more miles at Walt Disney World with a stroller than without, so I know firsthand the importance of having the right set of wheels for your kiddo (or kiddos). Let’s dig into the rules and guidelines to make sure you’re properly prepared for your visit to the Vacation Kingdom of the World.
I’m sorry to report that Walt Disney World Resort prohibits stroller wagons, wagons, and strollers greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. You can find the exact language in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, under the list of prohibited items.
If you don’t have a stroller that meets the property requirements, you may want to consider renting a stroller, which can be found at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. They offer single and double strollers, and the option to pre-pay for your length of stay for a reduced cost. All the stroller rental info, including rental locations and current pricing, can be found
here.
One stroller-related tip before you go. Whether you bring a stroller from home or rent one at the parks, be sure to add a bit of flair to your ride so it’s easier to spot amongst all the other strollers. A bandana or ribbon on the handle is a good option, but I generally avoid balloons. They tend to block the view of the stroller pusher and bonk them in the face. At least that’s my experience!
I hope you have a wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World, Karen. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have any other trip planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
