Hi there, Katie, and welcome to planDisney! It's awesome that you've stopped by with this great question. My Panelist pals and I are here and always thrilled to help our fellow Guests. It sounds like you're planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth with a little one in tow - how exciting!
Katie, the first thing we need to do is double-check that your stroller is within the size limits set by the Walt Disney World Resort
guidelines. Strollers may not be larger than 31” (79 cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long. Stroller wagons are not permitted. According to the
Property Rules, umbrellas are not on the list of prohibited items. If your stroller, with the addition of the umbrella, is within the limits, you should not have an issue, though policies are subject to change, and a Cast Member will make the final call.
If you find that you'd rather not take a chance, you are welcome to
rent a stroller within the Disney Theme Parks or from a third-party service. Taking the guesswork out of it might give you some peace of mind. You might also want to pack a stroller fan and an insulated water bottle for your little one. Be sure to locate the
Baby Care Centers - there's one at each park. It's a great place to stop in, cool down, and take a break from the elements. There are facilities to change and feed your little one, and there are also essentials available for purchase like diapers, formula, and children's medication. They're not just for babies!
Katie, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan for your vacation. From one mom to another, I know it can feel a little overwhelming. I'm here to help with any other questions you have! Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
See ya real soon!
