Hey there, hi there Belinda! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. We appreciate your patience as we assist all Mouseketeers who are anxious to
return to a land of magic.
Three chEARs! In just a few weeks, the theme parks of
Disneyland Resort will be open to ALL Guests, and you must be so excited for your trip. With two little ones of my own, we spend a lot of time planning our stroller strategy before visiting the Disney Parks. While both of my junior travelers have left their wheels behind when venturing out at home, we still like to have the option to use a stroller when logging those Mickey miles. According to my Apple watch, an average Disney day has us covering 8-11 miles!
Belinda,
current stroller rules state that "any trailer-like object that is pushed, pulled, or towed by an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle or stroller" is prohibited on Disneyland Resort property. I double-checked with a Cast Member who confirmed that stroller boards, gliders, and other attachments are not allowed at this time, as per the prohibited items list.
My family has a Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand stroller that allows an older child to safely stand on the back end, so if this is something you're interested in, I recommend doing a quick Internet search for local rental sites that offer this type of stroller. Additionally,
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park offer
single and double stroller rentals, perfect for when you don't want to tote a large stroller from home. Finally, ScooterBug Anaheim, a private mobility rental company, delivers rental strollers directly to Guests staying in
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Best wishes on finding something that works for your family!
I hope this is helpful, Belinda. No matter how you choose to stroll through the theme parks, I recommend marking your stroller with something that makes it personal. Check out the attached video where my fellow panelist, Crystal gives a few hints on how to spot your stroller in the parks. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
