Hi Eric, welcome to planDisney! I love that you're planning ahead for your upcoming trip and budgeting accordingly. As a planning enthusiast, I'm thrilled to lend a hand.
I'm a father of two little Mouseketeers, and I can't stress enough how important it is to have a stroller at the
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. The parks are enormous, and the weather can be exhausting, so having a stroller handy for your kids to rest and even nap is a total lifesaver.
Eric, you'll be happy to know that
renting a stroller at the parks is a breeze. A single stroller, perfect for kiddos weighing 50 lbs. or less, is currently available for $15 per day for a single day or $13 for multi-day (length of stay) rentals. For double strollers, ideal for children weighing 100 lbs. or less, it's $31 per day or $27 per day for multi-day rentals. These prices are subject to change, so double-check the Disney World official website again a week before your trip.
One of the many advantages of Disney World strollers is how flexible they are. If you opt for a multi-day rental, you can return the strollers at the end of each day and pick up a fresh one the next day simply by showing your receipt at the theme park entrance. This system lets you plan your days at the parks without worrying about stroller logistics. Of course, you're more than welcome to bring your own stroller as long as it follows
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules for size restrictions. I always travel with mine since my child is already used to it, but I understand that it's not always the most convenient option, especially when flying.
You must note that you can't take the strollers out of the parks, so you must return them at the end of each day. If you plan to hop to another park on the same day, you'll need to leave your stroller before exiting the first park. However, you can easily pick up a new one at your second park by presenting your rental receipt. Just keep in mind that you won't have a stroller while moving from one theme park to the next.
Eric, I hope this information is helpful. Please
let me know if you have any other questions. You're always welcome here, and we are always happy to help a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
