Oh boy, Jennifer! Sounds like you have a very special visit in the works to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'm thrilled you're bringing your little sweetheart to experience the magic of Disneyland Resort. Thanks for your question. Let's zip to it!
Disneyland does provide strollers for rent, but may not be reserved in advance. I recommend arriving early at the
Stroller Shop just outside the theme parks, east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, as a limited number of strollers are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that the Stroller Shop opens one hour prior to park opening. (Hours are subject to change without notice.)
However, for Guests staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, arrangements can be made to pre-order a stroller to be delivered to their hotel for a length-of-stay rental. For contact information, visit
the Disneyland website and find details under "Disney Featured Provider." Love those perks of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel!
Tip: While you're at the Stroller Shop, Jennifer, make sure to pick up a very cute Family Adventure Map - a really helpful tool to navigate the parks for Mouseketeers of all ages. You can easily see what attractions are a good fit for your little one, where to find those kid favorite foods, and even tips to maximize the magic. The kid friendly map will also allow them to take the lead - which my son loves!
Jennifer, I want to also make sure you are aware of the
Disneyland Resort Baby Care Centers, located at the end of Main Street next to Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, as well as next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain in California Adventure. There's also a short cut to this particular Baby Care Center from
Cars Land behind Fillmore's Taste-In. Each of these full-service Baby Care Centers are complimentary and offer a host of helpful amenities like toddler-size toilets! The Baby Care Center is a quiet, cool oasis away from the hustle and bustle and provides caregivers and their little ones with some extra comforts. It also has the coldest water in the entire park, in my opinion, so make sure to fill up your water bottles while you're there!
Well, Jennifer, I have no doubt you'll be off and rolling along in no time! As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question! I'd love to share more recommendations for a truly magical time with little ones. But, most of all, I sincerely hope you and your sweet one have so much fun immersed in the Disneyland magic. Say "hi" to Mickey for me!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
