How ya doin' Lori and welcome to planDisney!
Rented strollers were my saving grace on my goddaughter's first 2 trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. She was able to snack, take in the sights, and most importantly nap from the comfort of her royal chariot while being pushed around by her royal servant a.k.a me. In return, I was able to get to all my
Advanced Dining Reservations on time without little legs holding me up or a certain somebody needing me to carry them in the unyielding Florida sun. Lori, let's make sure you can keep on rolling smoothly around the magic too!
When you arrive at your Theme Park of choice or
Disney Springs, stop in first at the rental location near the front of the park or near Sundries at the shopping and dining paradise. You can pay the rental fee, receive your set of wheels and be off. You can pay for a single day at a time or for the full length of your stay if you'll be visiting for multiple days.
Pro-tip: Hang on to your receipt. If you're
Park Hopping, you'll need to return your stroller at your first park, show the receipt to the Cast Member at the next park, and receive a new stroller. If you paid for a length of stay rental, you'll have to show that receipt every day to get your stroller.
Pro, PRO-tip: If you want to rent a stroller to keep with you for the entirety of your trip and not just in the parks and at Disney Springs, you can do so through an outside company like ScooterBug. Plus
Disney Transportation is super accomodating of strollers so having it all over the property is no issue.
Lori, I hope I've been able to give you a little insight into stroller life at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions please stop by for another chat!
Happy planning!
