Hello there, Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney with an excellent question. We are thrilled to help you plan a summer visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I used a stroller for my oldest daughter until she was almost eight. Each child is different, but strollers were always very helpful for our family because our princess got tired during the day, especially in the summer. We still use a stroller for our youngest, and I cannot imagine visiting the Walt Disney World Resort without one. They are helpful during the day and also while returning to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a midday break or at night.
Strollers are available for rental at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Double strollers are recommended for children 100 pounds or less, however, your child may be a little uncomfortable because it seems these strollers are optimally designed for kids less than 45 inches tall due to the canopy overhang attached to the stroller. You are also welcome to bring your own stroller or rent from a third-party company, but please note that
strollers greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length are not permitted. In addition to strollers, you may also
rent a wheelchair for your child to make them more comfortable.
I hope this information is helpful, Ashley. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to stop by once again. We are delighted to help!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
