Can you take a stroller into the Plaza Garden Area if you purchase the Fireworks Dessert Party (either pre or post)?

Howdy, Tamera, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

There are so many things I love about Walt Disney World, but it's pretty hard to top the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park! Nothing quite compares to watching the skies explode with color above Cinderella Castle while that epic soundtrack tugs at your heartstrings. If you can make it through without shedding a tear, you're a stronger person than I am!

Of course, if there's anything I love more than fireworks in Disney World, it's a delicious sweet treat to cap off my evening. So naturally, as far as I'm concerned, there ain't no party like a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party!

Tamera, I'm so excited for you to experience the sweet, sweet magic of a dessert party with your little one. However, Magic Kingdom's dessert parties are pretty popular events, with lots of families in attendance. Since space is limited inside Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and in the Plaza Garden viewing areas, you'll need to park your stroller outside Tomorrowland Terrace before the party. To be sure, I chatted with a helpful Disney Cast Member, who confirmed that strollers are also not permitted inside the Plaza Garden viewing area. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I do have a few suggestions that might help!

While strollers aren't allowed in the fireworks viewing area, you are welcome to use a baby carrier. If your kiddo is still small enough for babywearing, this is a great option for the dessert party, and even while waiting in lines for attractions. When my kids were little, my baby carrier was always in my park bag for those times when a stroller just wasn't practical.

On the other hand, if your child is too big for babywearing, you may want to consider the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats & Sweets option, which allows everyone in your party to watch the spectacular from the comfort of their very own seat. My family also loves watching the fireworks from nearby restaurants like California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Both of these signature dining experiences offer fabulous food, delicious desserts, and fantastic fireworks views, where everyone has a seat. It's always a seriously special evening filled with unforgettable Disney memories!

I hope this information is helpful, Tamera, and that your visit satisfies your sweet tooth! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits,

    Allison
