Stroller or no? My oldest will have just turned 10, my youngest will be 6 when we go. We drive down so bringing one or more will not be a problem. Will they look silly in them? Are they too old? Honestly, I love them for their storage capacity! Thx!

    Hi Dawn,

I love strollers for their storage capacity too!  As mom, you probably end up carrying everything.  I think your 10 year old has probably outgrown the need for a stroller.  Your 6 year old may be done too.  I know my youngest will be 6 during our next vacation, and we're opting not to bring on (I think).  They'll walk throughout most of the park with no trouble, so I find we spend more time trying to figure out where we parked the stroller.

I would suggest throwing one in the car.  Try a day without it, and if it doesn't go well, you have it for the rest of the trip.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
