We have a stroller that it is 52 inches, but when front wheel swivels forward, it is longer than 52inches. Does anyone know how they are measured? I can't find any images or videos of strollers being measured.

Hey there, Jaclyn, and welcome to planDisney! As a Disney dad of four, I am very familiar with strollers! Now that I think about it, I don’t think that I’ve ever been to Disney World without a stroller. Sounds like I need an Adults Only trip to the Mouse’s house!

Jaclyn, Walt Disney World’s stroller guidelines state that Guest strollers must be smaller than 31 inches in width by 52 inches in length when measured at the widest and longest points. It is also my understanding that all strollers must be pushed while in the Theme Parks and not pulled. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how exactly the strollers are measured by Cast Members in the Theme Parks to ensure they meet specifications. I recommend reviewing the manufacturer specifications for your stroller - typically found online - prior to your visit to determine the exact dimensions.

If you are concerned about your stroller size, I recommend considering a stroller rental through a local company like Disney’s Authorized Provider, Scooterbug. Not only will it save you some packing space, but it’ll give you peace of mind that your stroller meets the requirements of the resort. My family has rented with Scooterbug before and had a really great experience.
