Hi Brandice!
Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with
Pre-School Kids and Little Ones can be such an incredible time! Seeing that Disney magic through the eyes of a child is something that has had a huge impact on my “core memories!”
In my opinion it is absolutely imperative that you either bring or rent a stroller for your three year old. When I am looking at the perfect stroller, it is a stroller that has plenty of space to provide your child with comfort. I also like strollers that recline back so that the child can snooze if they want to. Another really important feature is a stroller with a large sun shade. That Florida sun really can take its toll so it is important to stay protected.
I usually don’t bring my stroller from home because I don’t really need it to get through the airport and it often feels like just another thing to keep track of in the airport.
Strollers are available to rent at each of the Theme Parks and at Disney Springs for a daily fee. These strollers are made out of hard plastic and in my opinion they don’t really provide a lot of comfort. You also can’t use them to take your child to the bus loading area. I always rent a City Mini Stroller from Kingdom Strollers or Orlando Stroller Rentals. These companies drop the strollers off at your Resort hotel and pick them up at the end of your vacation. They fold easily for easy transportation on the buses and have always been extremely clean. Lastly not only do they have a decent size storage unit under the stroller but the sun shade provides a lot of protection from the sun.
