Greetings, Erika, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As a mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I understand just how important strollers are to a successful visit to the
Disneyland Resort! You’ll be happy to hEAR that your stroller should fit perfectly within the new stroller guidelines, effective this Wednesday, May 1, 2019. According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, the size of permitted strollers is changing from 36” in width x 52” in length to 31” in width by 52” in length. So, if your stroller is 26.5” wide and 34” long, it should pass the test! In fact, most single and double strollers still fit within these new parameters.
Though we don’t know exactly how strollers will be measured starting May 1, 2019 and beyond, the Disneyland Resort currently has helpful guides taped on the esplanade of the
Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, on the path toward Tram Loading. Stroller users can park their strollers inside the 31” x 52” box marked “Check your stroller size here,” to ensure it fits within the new guidelines. So, if you happen to be at the Resort in the next few days, you can always test it out if you’d like.
Here’s a helpful article from the Disney Parks Blog to simplify the latest rules and regulations being implemented at the Disneyland Resort… it’s always better to know before you go!
Also, have you heard about the newest addition to Hollywood Land? It’s called
Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and it’s a great spot to take a break with little ones while watching a spectacular 3D movie! Be sure to stop by the next time you find yourself in Disney California Adventure Park!
Hope to see ya’ real soon!
