Hi Anne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. My youngest is almost aging out of the stroller and my husband and I were just talking about how sad it will be when we no longer have the stroller to store all our stuff while we’re on rides at Walt Disney World.
You'll find designated stroller parking areas all over the Walt Disney World theme parks, and at busy times there are stroller parking attendant Cast Members who keep the area organized so it’s very easy to park your stroller and head to your attraction.
We don’t usually worry about the gear we leave in the stroller while we’re on an attraction. We bring a backpack and a smaller bag; we store any valuables, including phones and money, in the small bag, which we always carry with us. Water bottles, sunscreen, snacks, and sweatshirts stay in the stroller and we have yet to have anything disappear. You’ll need to decide how comfortable you are with that strategy based on what you’ve brought into the parks and your own comfort level. There are
locker rentals available around the parks, and those could be an option if you’re not comfortable leaving anything in the stroller, or you could bring a backpack containing your gear with you on most attractions.
Anne, did you know that if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel you can have your souvenir purchases sent back to your hotel for pick-up there? There are also
merchandise pick-up locations at the front of each park, so you could have souvenirs sent there and pick them up as you exit the park. This way you don’t have to worry about those items in your stroller and can focus on having the best day ever!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
