Hiya Courtney,
Welcome to
planDisney! I am honored to help you with your upcoming vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. As a mom of two under four years old, I know how important having a good stroller is. My stroller has to handle nap time and snack time, navigate crowds, and grow with my children. It is a tall order, but once the glass slipper fits, it can be hard to try a different one.
Courtney, throughout my many visits to Walt Disney World Resort, I have seen a wide range of stroller types, but I must admit I do not recall seeing a bike-trailer-style stroller. However, since you mentioned that your stroller fits within the permissible
dimensions of 31 inches wide by 52 inches long, it isn’t a stroller wagon. I did want to talk to a Cast Member. When I spoke to them, they mentioned that since your stroller fits within the dimensions, it should be permitted; however, the final discretion is reserved for the Cast Members at the security checkpoint. They can decide that the stroller is not permitted, so please keep that in mind. If you are worried about it, I recommend bringing a more traditional stroller (if you have one) or
renting one at the theme parks. I always feel terrible when a parent has to run back to their vehicle because their stroller isn’t allowed in.
I hope this was helpful, Courtney. Before I let you go, don’t forget to pack a stroller sign, ribbon, or grab a balloon. This will help you quickly identify your stroller in stroller parking amongst the sea of nearly identical strollers. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
