Hiya, Kayla!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question today. Getting to enjoy the magic anytime you like is one of the best benefits of being a
Magic Key Passholder. But certainly, at times, Guests are unable to visit when they thought they could.
As you mentioned, if a Magic Key holder has a reservation and does not show up for that reservation date, you do get a strike. According to the
Magic Key Terms and Conditions, if you
do not show up for three reservations in any 90 days, you will not be able to make any new reservations or modify any existing reservations for 30 days. However, existing reservations in that time will not be canceled.
There isn't a way to check in your account if you have a strike. However, if you receive one, you are sent an email so if you can search your emails, you should be able to see how many you have. Alternatively, you can call the
Magic Key Passholder line and they will be able to tell you how many you currently have.
As a reminder, Kayla, you can currently cancel or modify your reservation up until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the night before your reservation, and this is NOT considered a no-show, as long as it is canceled in time. Please note the "no show" and cancelation policy is subject to change at any time. If possible, it's always best to cancel whenever possible, but sometimes it isn't possible which is why you get some room for three strikes before the penalty is applied.
I hope this helps you, Kayla and you get to enjoy some Disneyland pixie dust soon! There is still a lot of 100 years of Disney magic happening for the rest of the year. If you have any more Disney planning questions, stop back and see us and we will be so happy to help you!
See ya real soon!
Keri
