Hello Samantha!
Welcome to planDisney! I always enjoy hearing from other
Magic Key holders!
I understand that sometimes unexpected events occur that prevent us from visiting Disneyland Resort, or we just forget that we have a park reservation (I can't even remember what I ate for dinner yesterday!). The
Magic Key No-Show Policy states that Magic Key holders who are a no-show for 3 reservations in any 90-day window will be unable to make new park reservations or modify existing park reservations for 30 days. The 30-day period begins the day after the third no-show, and will continue even if the pass is upgraded to another pass type or renewed during that time.
If you have further questions about the Magic Key No-Show Policy, you may want to contact the
Disneyland Help Center. The Cast Members can look at your account and let you know how many "strikes" you currently have.
I hope you were able to upgrade to a new Magic Key pass last week! As a reminder, you can currently cancel or modify your reservation until 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time on the night before your reservation. As long as it is canceled before this time, it is not considered to be a no-show. Please note the Magic Key No-Show Policy is subject to change at any time. To avoid worrying about future "strikes", it's most beneficial to cancel park reservations ahead of time. Since plans can change, I often set reminders on my phone for any time-sensitive actions that I might need to take.
Samantha, I hope you can participate in some of the
exciting events taking place at Disneyland Resort this year! Pixar Fest is a blast for Guests of all ages, and the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has a variety of tasty food and fun entertainment.
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney! Have a wonderful year using your Magic Key!
Jen
