How strict are the ride height requirements? Our youngest son is 47.8inchs in bare feet so over the 48inch minimum with shoes...We have 2 older children and will need to plan a distraction if the little one cannot go on Rockin Rollercoaster etc... Thanks!

    Hi, Hillary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question about attraction height requirements. I hope you’re looking forward to all the magic that awaits your family at the Walt Disney World Resort!

The minimum height requirements in place for certain attractions are for the safety and enjoyment of all Guests, so they are quite strict. However, as long as your child is wearing regular shoes without a large lift or heel, he should be able to keep them on for height measuring purposes. Remind your son to stand up tall and straight when checking his height—sometimes good posture can make a big difference.

I hope this helps, Hillary, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation! Please write back with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
