Hi Julie!
Bringing wagons to the parks at
Walt Disney World was a bit of a gray area before, but recent
park rules have changed and any type of wagon, pushed or pulled, is strictly prohibited and strollers cannot be larger 31" wide and 52" long. I understand that in some wagon cases, they might be smaller than the size allowed for strollers, but the rule is very clear that wagons are not allowed.
The new stroller and wagons rule started on May 1st and honestly, I haven't seen a single wagon in the parks since then. Anyone with a wagon will be turned away at the security checkpoint and asked to return the wagon to their hotel or their car.
Direct verbiage from Disney as to
why wagons are prohibited is, "Walt Disney World Resort makes updates from time to time, and the reduction of stroller sizes is intended to ease guest flow and reduce congestion, making the park experience more enjoyable for everyone who visits. Many strollers, including many double jogging strollers, fit within these guidelines."
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
