How strict are they with height limits on the rides. My son is almost big enough for some rides, but not quite.

    Hi Erin:

I have a five year old and four year old and have been traveling to Walt Disney World with them since they were infants.

Our boys were so excited to finally grow to meet rides that require a 40 inch height requirement required on certain rides. Because the height restrictions are based on safety reasons, Cast Members have never let my children on rides where they didn't exactly meet the height requirement (even when my kids and I gave the Cast Members our best "sad" faces). Nor have I ever seen Cast Members make exceptions for any other Guests. On Space Mountain once, a Cast Member neglected to measure my youngest son, and he got on the ride when he shouldn't have, but that was the only exception, and one I wouldn't count on in the future.

    Enjoy your vacation.
