Welcome to planDisney, Michelle!
As a Disney dad to two young Mouseketeers, I know the importance of having something to haul the little ones around in. With all the walking and excitement, those tiny legs need a break every now and then. Last summer, my wife and I were amazed when my son took a 3-hour nap (yes, you read that correctly) in our stroller during our Magic Kingdom Park day. I think the hot weather took it out of him!
Thankfully, Guests are welcome to bring their own strollers into the Theme Parks. They just have to be
within the dimensions limit of 31" wide and 52" long. The last time we visited, we were able to bring our double stroller with us, which was very convenient! If you didn't want to bring your own stroller from home, you can even
rent Mickey and Minnie-themed single or double strollers at any of the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. You can rent them on a day-to-day basis, or rent them for the entirety of your stay. Also, did you know that you can even rent a stroller from an outside company? There are several companies that deliver strollers to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. For example, ScootBug, which is an official Disney Featured Provider, will drop off and pick up strollers (and other mobility devices) at your hotel. You don't even need to be present! Michelle, although there are a variety of options when it comes to strollers, I can tell you that
wagons and "stroller wagons" are not permitted in the Theme Parks. Like you, I have seen them in the Theme Parks before. However, the official policy (subject to change) is that they are not allowed.
Walt Disney World is the
best place for kids! The next time you go, make sure you watch the
Festival of Fantasy Parade. You can even get a special spot to watch it by using
Disney Genie+.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Michelle! See ya real soon.
