How strict are Disney restaurants such as Be Our Guest and so on about the age for children ordering off of the kid's menu? My daughter is 11. Thank you.

    Hi Charles,

It sounds like you and I share something in common, a choosy eater in the family. I have good news. While everyone age 10 and over is strongly encouraged to order from the adult menu, I have found most restaurants to be incredibly flexible-especially when it comes to young people. I admit my fourteen year old daughter occasionally ordered from the children's menu this summer.

Both of my kids were fairly picky eaters when they were younger and have been experimenting with more and more foods as they've gotten older. Walt Disney World is one of the places they have been willing to try some new foods. Your daughter might surprise you with what she will select for her meals!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
