Stressing that I planned wrong! Arrive 10/30 and wanted to see Fantasmic this night. Planned AK for 31st in am and DD in pm. Halloween suggestions? Not attending MNSSHP. Should keep plan or HS on 31st and AK 11/4? Off site/no hoppers. 10/30-11/6 HELP! :O

    Hi Candi!

I'm not "tricking" when I say that you will be in for a real "treat" with your current plan!  Don't stress out - you have a great schedule and you should stick to it.  As you probably already know, Fantasmic will be showing at 7:00 PM on your arrival date, October 30th.  Promise me that you will go straight back to your room and get a good night's sleep - you will need it for Animal Kingdom!  While Animal Kingdom is HUGE and requires a lot of walking, it does not take as long as the other parks to tour.  You will have plenty of time to head over to Downtown Disney and take part in their Halloween festivities.

The 2009 schedule is not out yet, but based on what they did last year, you will be sure to have a frighteningly good time!  Over ten stores offered trick or treating, along with storytelling, stilt walkers and scary magic acts.  There was even a great dance party!  Of course, all of Downtown Disney was very crowded, but there was plenty of fun to go around.  If you would like to try out some other spooky scenes, be sure to visit Fort Wilderness.  Along with lots of trick or treating, a haunted carriage ride was also offered last year for around $60 for a family of five.

Please keep in mind that you are a very valuable guest of Walt Disney World, regardless of where you are staying!  Feel free to use any of the transportation and even visit the onsite resorts and check out their Halloween decorations.  Have a fa"boo"ulous trip!

    Much pixie dust,
