Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

What would be your strategy if you wished to experience Kilimanjaro Safari and Expedition Everest on the same morning with the least amount of standing in line? Would you go for EE first, then make your way to the Safari? Or the other way around?

Hi Susan! Both of these Animal Kingdom experiences you won't want to miss so this is a great question. I have actually tried it both ways with each first on my itinerary and I definitely have an opinion on what worked best for us.

We found that the line for the Safari will grow much faster then the Expedition Everest line so we always head there first now. Perhaps the line takes longer to load the cars on the Safari but for whatever reason we found we can do the Safari and then head to Everest and only wait for about 15 minutes in that line. Of course during holidays and busy times of year things will change and on any given day you can't predict what everyone else will be doing.

You can also send someone quickly to Everest for a Fastpass under the system today and meet you at the Safari but they are quite a distance apart and whoever is doing the "running" will not enjoy that job especially on a hot day!

Hope this helps with your planning for your big day in the Animal Kingdom park!
