When it comes to rope dropping
EPCOT, I have a few tried-and-true strategies. First, consider staying at a Disney Resort hotel. This gives you
Early Theme Park Entry, letting you enter the parks 30 minutes before the general public. By combining this perk with rope dropping, you can maximize your time and enjoy the most popular attractions with shorter waits. My next tip: aim to be on the first
bus to the parks. To do this, plan to line up 30 to 45 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive, adjusting for busier times of the year.
When you arrive at the park, stay to the left once rope drop begins and Cast Members start to guide Guests inside. Where you go depends on your top-priority ride, but I always head left for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Tackle that first, then head straight to
Test Track. If you're a fan of
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or
Frozen Ever After, consider those next, finishing with
Soarin' Across America. If your group loves Guardians of the Galaxy as much as mine does, go ahead and ride it twice! Ultimately, it all comes down to your preferences.
Bonus tip: Don't forget about
Lightning Lanes! These are a great way to reserve ride times, especially if you want to experience your favorite attractions more than once after rope dropping. I highly recommend using them if you're big on rides.
