I have a strange question. My 3yr old has been trained for quite some time...although she does have the odd accident after really busy, tiring days when in a deep sleep. Pull ups aren't an option. Are the mattress pads waterproof on the beds?

Hi Angela!

It is still very, VERY normal for little ones to still have accidents when they are over-tired. For this specific reason, we travel with our own (top of sheet) mattress pad cover, as the mattresses at the hotels DO NOT have a waterproof mattress cover.

Our mattress protector tucks in over the mattress, and is about 36-48 inches long. If there is an accident, I take it off and make a trip to the laundry the next day. We've YET to have an accident, but I like knowing that the protection is there. We purchased our pad from onestepahead.com.
