Hello, dear Susan!
Thanks for coming back to our
planDisney crew!
And please, don't worry: no question is strange here. We're all Disney experts who have been through the good, the strange,
and the magical! You're always welcome to snorkel through our ocean of insights (did you
sea what I did there?)!
You can swim around the pools with goggles, snorkels, and masks, but this equipment must stay away from the slides due to the risk of accidents.
Flipping your fins is another story, and, as Ariel says,
you won't get too far. At
Disney Resort pools,
legs are required for jumping, dancing, and swimming, as Guests can't wear fins.
Small personal floating devices (like life vests) are more than welcome at the pools, but they must not obstruct the lifeguard's view of other Guests. Just as long as everybody is safe, we can all swim around and have a lot of fun. Wetsuits are also fine, so feel free to rock your new swim attire at
Stormalong Bay!
I hope that you have many
cool midday breaks this fall, dear Susan. And if more questions
surface before October, please,
float them by us!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
