Hi Carol,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again. October is a boo-tiful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My friend recently asked if I was on team Mickey pumpkin or team Cinderella pumpkin when it comes to my preference for seasonal decor at Magic Kingdom Park. My response was a definite, "both!" If Main Street, U.S.A., doesn't have to choose, why should I?!
You included some important pieces of information in the phrasing of your question, Carol. Because you have a dining reservation, your plan will work as described. You will likely be asked to scan your MagicBand or give your name to confirm your dining or resort reservation when entering the parking lot of any
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Leave your luggage with the friendly Cast Members at Bell Services, and it will be there waiting for you when you return in a few hours. I recently left my luggage with Bell Services at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort while I enjoyed lunch at
Kona Cafe (currently closed for refurbishment) on my check-in day. My room at nearby Shades of Green wasn't ready after lunch so I walked over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to do some shopping. A couple of hours later, I returned to Bell Services to pick up my luggage before getting a ride to my resort.
It sounds like you have the makings of a magical arrival day, Carol. Let planDisney know if we can help maximize the magic on any of your other Disney days!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
