Is Storytellers restaurant at the Grand Californian still a buffet for dinner? I seem to get conflicting answers.

Hello there, Jack - welcome to planDisney!

Jack, thank you kindly for reaching out to planDisney with this most important delicious question!

Over at the incredible, Storytellers Café at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the art of storytelling continues for dinner while Mickey Mouse and pals enjoy the theme parks, with the all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner buffet - do not miss the corn chowder, Jack, it’s out of this world good!

The buffet is the manner of breakfast with Mickey Mouse and many of his closest pals at the cozy Craftsman-style dining room with Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Café - where you can enjoy all the Mickey Waffles your heart desires, yummy! Don’t forget to ask your server if you can order a custom-made omelet, I cannot say enough how delicious these are!

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (subject to change) you can feast on a buffet brunch with Mickey and his pals where you can indulge in those delectable Mickey Waffles and beignets and believe it or not, this is where I sampled my first avocado with the oh-so-good avocado toast, after that, I was hooked!

After any of your meals, head over to the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to relax while enjoying the authentic Craftsman theming indoors, or the relaxing quiet pockets of solitude outside, mere steps away from the lobby, or be pampered at the Tenaya Stone Spa on the premises.

    Tips:
Jack, you can book your advance Disneyland Dining Reservations 60-days before your visit and take a look at the many benefits enjoyed by Guests at Disneyland Resort Hotels which add great conveniences and unique Disney magical experiences!

Download the Disneyland Mobile App to manage your plans and travel party before and during your visit and don’t forget to make your Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations up to 120-days before your visit, as this is the method of visiting the theme parks at this time. If dining at a Table-Service venue inside a Disneyland Resort theme park you will also need a Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservation along with a confirmed Disneyland Dining Reservation.

Did you know that you can also use the Disneyland Mobile App to join walk-up waitlists for those difficult-to-secure Disneyland Resort dining venues?

Jack, I hope this information is what you were hoping for and I wish you a magically delicious meal at Storytellers Café. Kindly stop by planDisney for tips and advice on how to enhance your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth during the Halloween season!

    Best Disney Dishes and Wishes!
