    When do the stores in Disney world start selling halloween merchandise?

    Hi there Tiesha,

    Halloween Time at Disney World is one of my favorite times to visit!  I just love that the parks portray the perfect blend of spooky and sweet!

    The Halloween merchandise is usually rolled into the shops at the same time the decorations go up which is usually around September 1st.  It's really neat if you're already at Walt Disney World when the transformation occurs because the decorations literally appear overnight!  

    You leave the parks one evening with them looking normal, only to return to find them decked out with spooky pumpkins and Fall leaves the next morning!  This is when you'll also find the stores filled to the brim with Halloween and Fall merchandise offerings in addition to spooktacular bakery items and confections!
