Is the store in US dollars

Ahoy there Megan, and welcome aboard planDisney!

It looks like you’re gearing up to set sail on the Disney Wonder as she wanders the waters around Australia and as one of our International Panelists I’m happy to lend a pearl of wisdom or two to help you before you purchase any of the onboard treasures that you seek.

Whenever you make any purchases on board, it important to remember that at the current time the pricing will be in American Dollars (USD) unless otherwise posted in places like Mickey’s Mainsail, White Caps or Sea Treasures. It’s a good idea to inquire at the Guest Services Desk on board about the current exchange rates and to keep track of your onboard spending to avoid any surprises after converting back into Australian Dollars at the end of your voyage! Some savvy international folks who frequent Disney Destinations swear by digital Disney Gift Cards which can be used on board, and applies to items charged to your stateroom folio.

Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney again for tip, tricks or even a bit of nautical knowledge ahead of your next Disney adventure!

Hope your shopping at sea is swell!
