Hi there Grace, welcome to planDisney!
When planning a vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort, arrival logistics are always on my mind. One of my recent trips I travelled with a backpack as my carry-on and I met up with my planDisney pals
Brent and
Jennifer after my ride from the airport dropped me off at
Disney Springs. I had to pass through security and have my bag checked - I’m happy to report it didn’t take more than a minute or two more than my usual check.
Sometimes Guests head straight to the theme park (or on departure day, Guests might have a bag with them) and I’m happy to share that there are
lockers available inside the entrances at all four theme parks. While the lockers are not overly large, they can fit a backpack or small carry-on if lucky. The small lockers measure 12”x 10”x 17” ($10 per day) and the large lockers are 15.5” x 13” x 17” ($12 per day).
EPCOT and
Magic Kingdom Park both have jumbo lockers that measure 17”x 22”x 26” ($15 per day). All lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Prices are subject to change).
If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can stop by
Bell Services and they can hold your bag for you until you are ready to head to your room (you can do this even if your room is not yet ready).
Grace, I hope this information helps your vacation planning so you can maximize time at the theme parks. Please
let me know if you have any additional questions, I’m happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Candace
