Can I store a large suitcase somewhere at the park - note I am not a Disneyland resort hotel guest and my hotel is not nearby

Greetings, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! The Disneyland Resort is calling, and there's so much excitement ahead. Before the fun begins, let's figure out a plan for your luggage.

Since you're not staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, renting a locker may be the best option for storing luggage on-site. There are oversized lockers to the side of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance near the picnic area. They're available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can easily store a couple of carry-on bags. However, they most likely couldn't fit a truly large suitcase. It's important to note that the Disneyland Resort Park Rules state that suitcases or bags larger than 15" wide, 18" high, and 24" long are not allowed. If your suitcase exceeds any of those dimensions, it likely wouldn't be allowed past security. Also, you'll need to go through security with your luggage to access the lockers, so make sure you don't pack any prohibited items.

I know this isn't an ideal solution, but you could ask the front desk at the hotel you're staying at if they can securely store your luggage before or after you check out (depending on when in the trip you're visiting the Disneyland Resort). It would require you to go back to the hotel, but it's an option. You can also search online for an off-site luggage storage service.

Without knowing your travel plans, I'm not sure whether the next suggestion will work for you, but I'll mention it just in case. There are Good Neighbor Hotels within walking distance of the Disneyland Resort. If you have flexibility, you could adjust your accommodations so part of your trip is at one of these Disney-approved hotels. You'd be close to the magic and would have a safe place to leave your suitcase. Some hotels in the area may store luggage for hotel Guests immediately before and after their stay, too.

There's a lot going on at the Disneyland Resort right now. It's Halloween Time, so you can look forward to festive decorations, seasonal overlays for a few popular attractions, special entertainment, fun merchandise, and more. Check out the Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog for highlights of the tasty treats you can get, too.

Amanda, I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort. If you have any questions while at the park, stop by a Guest Relations location for assistance. Of course, you can also come back to planDisney – we're happy to help!

    Wishing you magic,
