Hi Jacqueline! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
I understand that sometimes it's tricky to leave bags at the hotel, especially if you're trying to get to the parks as soon as you land. You don't want to miss out on a minute of the magic! If you really must bring your luggage with you, be sure you check the dimensions.
Park Rules currently state that luggage larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high won't be allowed in the parks. Security will check, so double-check that luggage! You'll also want to make sure there's nothing in your luggage that isn't permitted in the parks as your luggage will be subject to a security check.
You can store your luggage in a
locker, which you can rent for the day. Lockers come in several sizes. Keep that in mind when selecting a locker. Small and medium-sized lockers probably won't be large enough for carry-on luggage; you'll need to utilize the larger lockers, which can be found on The Esplanade alongside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. They're near the
Picnic Area. Locate the lockers on the map on the Disneyland mobile app by changing the selection from "Attractions" to "Guest Services." You should see an icon to the left of the Disneyland Park entrance that looks like a lock. This indicates the lockers' location.
Large lockers are 15” wide x 16.6” high x 22.6” deep, and extra-large lockers are 15” wide x 23” high x 22.6” deep. If you have other things to store along with your luggage, the jumbo lockers are 18” wide x 25” high x 37” deep. One of these should get the job done, so you can enjoy your park day unencumbered!
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
