When stopping in Nassau I plan to bring back Rum. What are the rules around how many bottles per person and any bottles sizing regulations. I understand it will need to be checked in and recieved back at disembarkation.

Ahoy matey, and welcome to planDisney, Tyler! As Captain Jack Sparrow notes, "A ship may sail on water, but a pirate's heart sails on rum."

Disney Cruise Line allows pirates 21 years and older to bring beer and wine on board in their carry-on bag. This is limited to up to 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call.

We know not all treasure is silver and gold, mate. Sometimes it’s rum. To make sure I am getting you the best information, Tyler, I confirmed with a Cast Member that there are no limits on the amount of rum you may purchase at a port of call. As you noted, it will be stored for you until your adventure ends and you are back on the mainland. Savvy?

For a bit of the liquid courage of pirates while on board, I highly recommend a DOLE Whip with dark rum or spiced vanilla rum added. On the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, I have found these at Frozone Treats, and I have heard they can be found at Wheezy’s Freezies on the Disney Wish

I hope you have an amazing adventure with your favorite buccaneers aboard the most magical ship at sea.

If you have any other questions, cruise back by planDisney. You've got a matey in us!

    Cheers!
    Jana
