Will we be stopped at Disney for wearing homemade shirts with Mickey or other Disney characters on them? I don’t want to be stopped for copyright infringement or anything!

How ya doin' Kelli and welcome to planDisney!

Planning my wardrobe is as much a part of planning my vacation as my Advance Dining Reservations. I love a good Disney street-style moment. People-watching to see all of the fun outfits that people wear to The Most Magical Place on Earth is one of my favorite pastimes. Let's get you dressed to impress!

I'm happy to tell you that your homemade shirts are more than welcome at the Walt Disney World Resort. As long as they adhere to the Guest Courtesy and Attire Policy laid out in the Walt Disney World Property Rules you should be fine.

Pro-tip: In addition to your shirts, try planning for coordinating themes for your park days! Animal prints or safari-themed outfits for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Star Wars shirts at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Kelli, have a great time on your vacation. Take lots of pictures in your fabulous 'fits! And if you have any other questions please feel free to come back for another chat.

    Happy planning!
