Hello there, Ian!
I’m happy to share that you can bippity bop around to different Walt Disney World Resort hotels during your vacation. Like Cinderella, you will need to pay attention to the time because when you leave one hotel during normal check-out hours, your next room may not be ready until later in the afternoon. If you do a split stay, I recommend planning accordingly and packing any swimsuits, medications, or anything else you need in a day bag.
One of the perks of staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is that they make doing a split stay at different Resorts so easy. For instance, as long as your reservations are both at
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, your luggage can be transferred. When you check in to your first Resort, ask a Cast Member about the best way to coordinate this transfer, but usually, all you need to do is drop your luggage off at bell services and let them know that you would like your baggage transferred to your second Disney Resort Collection Hotel.
If I were to plan a split stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, I would look into booking two Resort hotels in different areas of the property, like
Disney’s Beach Club Resort in the EPCOT Resort Area and
Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area. This way, you can use different types of
Resort transportation, such as water and monorail transportation.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
