Hello and welcome to planDisney, Atsushi (youkoso)! We're so glad you stopped by to ask us this question. I'm so excited to hear you will visit the Disneyland Resort soon and I am delighted to help.
A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required for entry into both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. My recommendation would be to
park your car in the Simba Lot located off Disneyland Drive. This parking lot will give you access to the
Downtown Disney District and is just a short walk away from the main entrance ticket booths. The first hour of parking will cost $10 (price is subject to change) and keep in mind that you will also be required to go through security.
While you certainly can purchase your tickets a few days before your visit, if you can, I strongly encourage you to
purchase tickets well in advance so you can make a theme park reservation as soon as possible. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit. I would hate for you to be in a situation where theme park reservations are not available for your desired visit. We're getting closer and closer to
Halloween Time which is a very popular time for visitors at the Disneyland Resort.
When you arrive, be sure to download the
Disneyland app. This will come in handy during your visit with a map of the resort, attraction wait times and entertainment options and showtimes. If it will be your first visit, stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. for a complimentary "1st Visit!" button - these also make a wonderful souvenir. I recently visited Tokyo Disneyland and a kind Cast Member gifted me a Dream Garland sticker with a sweet message (yokatta desu). It is one of my treasured souvenirs from my visit.
I hope this helps, Atsushi. If you have anything else you'd like to ask, please come back to visit us. I wish you all the luck and pixie dust as you plan for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Ganbatte kudasai.
