If I have a folding/collapsible stool that can fit in a book bag would I be allowed to bring it into the park?

    Hello Grant!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry Grant, but folding chairs are on the list of prohibited items for the theme parks,  water parks, and Disney Springs. It will most likely include a collapsible stool as well.  I suggest if you need assistance, consider bringing or renting an ECV or wheelchair. Days in the Parks can be tiring and a few days ago I figured out that I could track my travels to Walt Disney World Resort by viewing my peak walking days on my fitness tracker. On average, I walk about 19,000 steps in the Parks and I end up having the blisters to prove it.  It can be rough but please take care of yourself and take your time when in the Parks. Wear good shoes and take breaks. Oh, and every park has a First Aid office staffed with medical staff and bandages for those blisters. (Trust me, I know!)

Walt Disney World Resort has some great shows and attractions that let you sit and relax while being incredibly entertained. My favorites include Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, and Fantasmic

I hope this helps and you have a lovely time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
