We would like to stock our room with some snacks and milk for our 4 year old twins is there a grocery store type place on property?

    Hi Wendy!

Thanks for stopping by with your question - I'm happy to help!

What fun you're going to have on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little ones. I remember taking each of my daughters at age four - it's such a magical time in their lives, and you'll want to soak up every moment!

No worries - Disney makes it easy to stock your resort room with snacks and milk! Each resort on property has a food court/restaurant and also a gift shop that will carry snacks, beverages and other sundries. Resort rooms feature small refrigerators that come in handy to keep drinks (such as milk) cold and fresh.

Another option is to have grocery items delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. There are several companies to choose from, but our favorite is Garden Grocer (gardengrocer.com). We've had several good experiences with them - the food always arrives fresh, and on time. It's so convenient! They have lots of our favorite brands to choose from, so it's nice to know we can enjoy the same snacks and drinks we enjoy at home when we're on vacation.

Here's how the grocery delivery service works: Once you create an account and place your order, you'll choose a delivery time range on a specified date. Garden Grocer will send you an email to let you know when your items have been delivered to your resort hotel. Your items will be waiting for you in Bell Services, and any perishable items will be refrigerated/frozen. When you're ready for your groceries to be delivered to your room, all you have to do is contact Bell Services and they will bring them to you. (Make sure to have some small bills set aside for tipping). Easy peasy! Moms Panel tip: When ordering milk, order in a half gallon or smaller size so it will fit in the small refrigerator!

I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if we can help with any other questions before your trip! - Diane W.
