Aloha Kaitlyn!
Thank you for sending us this magical question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad that you sent us this magical question and that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort so soon. How excited are you to go on a Hawaiian rollercoaster ride? I know I would be thrilled!
As a big fan of Stitch, I completely understand why you want to meet him and exchange surfing tips and tricks. One way to meet your favourite blue alien is to stop by Tomorrowland at
Magic Kingdom Park, as Stitch is known to sometimes meet new friends there! Also, while you are at Magic Kingdom Park, make sure to stop by the purple wall on the right side of Tomorrowland right after the entrance from Main Street U.S.A., as you will also be able to visit his statue for the World's Most Magical Celebration. In addition, Disney Parks Blog recently announced that
Stitch will also be returning to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast at 'Ohana, starting on September 27th, 2022. Although this may be too late for your upcoming trip, it only means that you will have a reason to visit again real soon!
Now, Kaitlyn, I thought I would suggest a few things you could do to have the perfect Lilo and Stitch day with your Ohana! First, although Stitch may not be there during your trip, I still highly recommend making a dining reservation at
Kona Cafe or
'Ohana. Both restaurants are absolutely delicious and famous around the Walt Disney World Resort, specifically for their breakfast items. I literally have dreams of those
Macadamia Nut Pancakes! Second, no trip to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, let alone to the Walt Disney World Resort, is complete without a Dole Whip. Indeed, stop by
Pineapple Lanai right outside the lobby to get the deliciously refreshing treat, and I always love to enjoy mine at the beach with Magic Kingdom Park in the distance. Lastly, look through the various souvenir shops around the theme parks and Resorts, as you are sure to find the perfect Lilo and Stitch souvenir.
I hope this was helpful, Kaitlyn, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out. As Lilo would say: "Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten," and you're part of our Ohana too!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
