I am a step-mommy to be of two 4 1/2 twin girls! Staying @ The Magic Kingdom in August and have 4 day passes. We are all very excited and it is our first plane ride as a family and probably the last before our wedding. Advice on must bring items?

Hello, Ariela! First of all, Congratulations! I bet your girls are super excited to be going to Walt Disney World and experiencing a flight for the first time. I suggest packing something fun for them to do while on the airplane. I usually pack my son a Disney themed coloring book with stickers and a puzzle. Here are some items that you will find in my 'Disney bag':

    *Sunscreen

*Ziplock baggies- I keep my phone and other electronics in plastic bags so that they do not get wet on water rides or if it rains.

*Ponchos- You will definitely need ponchos in August. I usually buy one disposable poncho per person per day. If you purchase ponchos before your trip you can end up saving a lot of money.

*Baby powder- Chaffing is a real problem.

*Portable charger- I'm always taking pictures or checking out attraction wait times on the My Disney Experience App, and my phone usually dies mid-day without my charger.

*Towel/Swimsuit- You never know when you will get stuck in a rainstorm and need a towel, or spontaneously decide to jump in a splash area. Last year my son ran around in the Casey Jr. Splash 'N Soak Station with his clothes on and I had to buy a towel in the parks. I now carry around swim trunks and towels in case he needs a mid-day splash to cool off.

*Baby Wipes- My son is almost 6 and I still carry wipes. Mickey Bars melt in the Florida sun and so wipes are great to have to clean off sticky fingers.

    *Band Aids

*Water Container- I always pack my Contigo water container. If you go to any Quick-Service Restaurant you can ask for a free cup of ice water. It saves so much money to do it this way instead of buying water in the parks.

I'm running out of space, but if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask. We are happy to help in any way possible. Have a magical first family vacation, and once again, congratulations!
