    Hello Stephanie...my husband and I will be visiting Disney , soon, with our daughter and her family. My question ...where can my husband and I get a glass of wine with our dinner in the Magic Kingdom, and still enjoy character dining?

    Hi Kathy, 

    Thanks for the question!  I have great news for you!  With the opening of the Be our Guest in the New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom guests are now able to enjoy an adult drink with their meal during dinner service.  Now for the not so great news... Be our Guest does not offer character dining; On occasion, the Master of the Castle will be on hand to greet his guests, but meeting the Beast is by no means guaranteed when dining at the restaurant.  

    To enjoy character dining and a glass of wine with your meal my suggestion would be to make a reservation at either Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare.  Both dining options are easily accessible from the Magic Kingdom, offer character dining and of course, full bar services.  

    Another option I would suggest would be to head on over to Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  At this dinner show, certain adult beverages are included in the price of admission.  On the Disney Dining Plan you will need to redeem two Table Service credits to attend the BBQ.  Also included in the price is an all you care to eat BBQ buffet, live country music and of course, Mickey and his friends make several appearances and even dance with the younger guests!
