Ka-chow, Paul!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for sending your question our way. I'll have an answer for you faster than Lightning McQueen's crew can roll him through a pit stop.
To pass through the
Walt Disney World theme park gates,
strollers should be no larger than 31” (79 cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long when measured across the widest and longest points. Additionally, stroller wagons are not permitted. If your kids' wheels fall within those guidelines, they are welcome in the parks!
The only potential glitch I see with the stroller you describe is transportation. All strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle when boarding all
buses and most
watercraft in Walt Disney World. If you anticipate taking advantage of complimentary resort transportation, you might want to consider renting another set of wheels for your vacation.
Single and double strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and
Disney Springs.
My little Mouseketeers don't use a stroller anymore at home, but the Mickey miles in the theme parks can really add up; my Apple Watch clocked us at 8-11 miles per day on a recent visit! When we vacation in Walt Disney World, we use ScooterBug, Disney's preferred third-party mobility vendor. With this service, the stroller of your choice is delivered to your
Resort Hotel, and a Cast Member at Bell Services will stow your rental until check-in. At the end of your trip, simply return the stroller to Bell Services and a ScooterBug employee will pick it up. On their website, ScooterBug provides dimensions for each type of stroller, so you know your rental will fit within Disney's requirements.
I hope this is helpful, Paul, and that your family has a
wheely good time on vacation this summer. Thanks again for strolling by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
Betsy
