My step mom bought ticket for us for the mickeys not so scary Halloween party, how do we get them off her Disney account onto ours?

    Boo to you, Katrina!

I'm so glad Lady Tremaine was not the one purchasing your tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park. If so, she might have torn your costumes to shreds and made your Fairy Godmother work overtime so you could make it to Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Your stepmom, on the other hand, sounds delightful, and I'm sure she's more than willing to do what's needed to link those special event tickets to your My Disney Experience accounts.

Start by asking your stepmom to locate your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets on the "Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker" page of her My Disney Experience account. If your party tickets are linked to her, your task is to reassign the tickets to you (Solution A). If your party tickets appear linked to your name, but they do not appear in your My Disney Experience account, that means they are currently linked to My Disney Experience account profiles managed by your stepmom's account. In that case, your task is to merge the newly created profiles with your separate accounts (Solution B).

    Solution A
Your stepmom can reassign the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets to anyone on her Family & Friends list using the "Reassign Ticket" dropdown menu next to each ticket in her My Disney Experience account. If you are not already connected as Family & Friends, she should select "Add a Guest" at the bottom of the dropdown menu and "I'll enter their name and age." After she enters 18+ as the age, an additional option will appear and she should select "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter the email address associated with your My Disney Experience account. Once you accept the email invitation to connect, you will be connected as Family & Friends and your party ticket will be reassigned to your account.

    Solution B
To merge the My Disney Experience account profile your stepmom created with your previously created account, ask her to click "Update" next to your name on her Family & Friends List. Next, she should click "Share plans with Katrina" and enter your email address. In this case, once you accept the email invitation to connect, all of the vacation entitlements housed in your stepmom's account (including your party ticket) will transfer to your account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends and won't have to worry about duplicate My Disney Experience account presences in the future.

If you find any of this tech talk scarier than the Headless Horseman, Katrina, a helpful Cast Member at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand, MagicBand+ number would be happy to assist you between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST.
