Staying at YC for first time and cant decide between breakfast at Cape May or Boma. Never been to either. Characters are not important. Cape May would be super easy and convenient but if we did Boma we would get to visit AKL, which we’ve never seen.

Hello Marie and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A choice between Cape May Cafe and Boma-Flavors of Africa for breakfast...such a dilemma!  My first thought is "why not both?"  They are both fantastic choices with excellent food and decor.

Cape May Cafe, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort does have the advantage of a fun-filled breakfast hosted by Minnie Mouse, and I do LOVE a good character breakfast. However, if faced with the choice, I would select Boma-Flavors of Africa. The opportunity to see Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge shouldn't be passed up. And the buffet provides an array of food, some of which can't be experienced elsewhere.

I hope this helps with your planning.

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
