We are staying at the yacht club. I was wondering if you knew what the depths of the different areas of the pools in stormalong bay is? I'm particularly interested in the pool when you exit the flying jib slide?

    Hi Miriam!

Thanks for your question. Next to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I've always felt architecturally Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club Resort were magnificent in their design and structure. Stormalong Bay has got to be one of my favorite pool areas, and I can't fail to mention the "cool factor" that both resorts are just a short stroll away from Epcot.

Playing off memory, all of the pools can't be no more than maybe 5 feet deep. I'm right at 6 feet tall, and I think most of the water in the main pool areas may have risen to the top of my shoulders and that was about it. Now, Stormalong Bay does have a beach area, which has water that can't be no more than 2 feet deep, perfect for the little ones to play in. Probably the deepest area would be the lazy river, which I believe is about 8-feet deep.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay at the luxurious Yacht Club!
