Hi Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You will love your stay at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort in just a few days! My husband and I were able to plan a getaway to this beautiful
Disney Resort hotel a couple of years ago and we absolutely adored it. One of our favorite things to do was walk around the water and watch the sunrise and sunset. Talk about a dreamy vacation spot! *swoon*
Since you are driving yourself and plan to spend the day at
Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center (the main parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park). Disney Resort hotel Guests receive
complimentary theme park parking, so you won't have to worry about that! You can then hop on the
Resort Monorail to reach Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or there is a walking path from the Transportation and Ticket Center. It is located to your left before you reach security as you are walking to the Transportation and Ticket Center and you can ask a Cast Member to direct you if you want to stretch your legs a bit.
You also have the option of parking for up to three hours at no charge at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your breakfast reservation at
Kona Cafe, but you will need to move your car before heading to Magic Kingdom Park, so I think parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center is ultimately your best bet.
Enjoy your vacation, Jessica! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
