Hi Carolyn!
The Disney
Yacht Club Resort is what I call my home resort as it is where I will stay when we aren't "camping" in Fort Wilderness with our motor coach. I love being so close to two parks as well as the Boardwalk area plus this resort tends to be quieter then many others.
It is very easy to get to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs by bus. You can walk to Epcot which is only about an 8 minute walk to the International Gateway and you can enjoy a nice boat ride or walk to Hollywood Studios. Making dining reservations at any of these locations is easy to do.
Traveling from resort to resort is a bit tougher. The easiest way is to drive your own car or call for a taxi. If those are not choices then you will need to take a bus to a park or Disney Springs and then transfer to the resort bus where your dining reservation is held. Give yourself plenty of time when you do this.
Some of my favorite places to dine close to the Yacht Club Resort include all of the World Showcase restaurants in Epcot, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, Captains Grill and the Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club Resort. Cape May at the Beach Club has a fun character breakfast as well as the new Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk.
For something a little different try Beaches and Cream at the Yacht Club for a lunch or dinner followed by some great ice cream sundaes!
Lots of choice and lots of decisions! From the locations you listed the Animal Kingdom Lodge will take the longest to get to as you will have to head to a park or Disney Springs to transfer to that bus. But it is worth it so just plan the time for transportation!
