I am staying at the yacht club in January. Can I access the Epcot monorail to get to Magic Kingdom for a breakfast reservation by walking through Epcot from the International Gateway before park opening?

    Hi Kristian!

You are going to love Disney's Yacht Club Resort! It's one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels because of its convenient location, beautiful accommodations, and awesome dining options. Be sure to check out Stormalong Bay during your visit because it's one of the best pools at Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort will give you convenient access to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, which is located in World Showcase. Unfortunately, there's no way to get from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT's main entrance without walking through the theme park, and to enter the theme park, you will need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation for EPCOT. You also can't enter the theme park before its opening time. So you won't be able to walk through the theme park to get to the EPCOT monorail station to travel to Magic Kingdom for your breakfast. I recommend that you either utilize the complimentary busses from Disney's Yacht Club Resort for your breakfast reservation or utilize the Minnie Van Service for private, direct transportation.

Kristian, be sure to check out Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort during your stay. Their breakfast is one of my favorite meals at Walt Disney World Resort and I can often find last-minute reservations for this tasty restaurant. It's one of my favorite hidden gems at the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"
